* Adding or changing sessions in the app using "My Favorites" does not change your official conference registration. To make a change to your registered conference schedule, please visit FraudConference.com.
Tapping the Contacts feature takes you to a list of the attendees at the event. As a registered attendee, your contact information has been preloaded and requires a pairing code. You should have received an email from the ACFE with your pairing code, but you can retrieve your code by entering the email account you used to register for the event. Your code will be emailed to that account.
To share your information, tap on the attendee’s name. Sharing information will NOT automatically reciprocate information exchange from the other party as a basic privacy measure. This process does not involve popups, but instead sends the contact information to “Your Contacts.” That person can then choose to reciprocate contact sharing by tapping on your name.
Only users with whom you have shared your information will be able to see yours. Unshared contacts will only be able to see your name and your company.
Your data security is important to us, so we have designed the contact sharing feature this way to protect your information. Anyone with a smartphone has the ability to download the app, but your information will only be visible to those users you have chosen to share it with.
Exhibitors are listed by name and category, and you can select favorite exhibitors by tapping the bookmark icon. Favorited exhibitors will show up in the third list, “Your Favorite Exhibitors.”
Exhibitors show their booth number within their exhibitor listing. Tapping this booth number will take you to a map with the exhibitor booth highlighted. On the Exhibit Hall map, you can tap on an image of the booth and a red flag with the exhibitor name and a yellow spotlight will appear. Tap the spotlight to go to the exhibitor’s detail page.
Tap the map icon for a menu of the different maps for the event. There are two different kinds of maps. The first is an area map with different recommended amenities around the event. Our area map is an OpenSource version of Google Maps, so it works a little bit differently, and does not activate the GPS functionality when tapped.
There are also floor maps which allow you to navigate the event to find sessions, exhibitors, and sponsors. If you tap on the map image, a yellow spotlight and a red bubble appear. The red bubble shows how many sessions or which sponsors/exhibitors are located within that area. If you tap the red flag, the flag will disappear, but if you tap the yellow spotlight you will see the items associated with the location.
You can also view the map from the description page by tapping the location name next to the pinpoint icon.
The Notes feature allows you to easily access any notes taken during a session. From the notes view, you can see the date and time of the session, edit your notes, and return to the session details. Android supports notes download, and notes can be copied and pasted into an email or text editing application for the other platforms.
