hih-cairrao-150x200.jpg "At Conference, I am most looking forward to seeing old friends and old partners in order to gain more information on how business is going to be conducted next year in the U.S. and to look for best practices. Brazil is still developing practices on how to avoid fraud, how to prevent fraud. Here in the U.S., you've been doing this for a long time."
hih-walters-150x200.jpg  "I just got through with the session on Benford's Law, and it was fascinating! I knew a little bit about it, but it has never been explained so well."

"The networking has been very, very good. I like that the choice of topics for breakout sessions is especially wide, and they repeat so you can see them. The general sessions were very interesting as well, specifically Pamela Meyer."

"I was most impressed this year with how organized the Conference was, from registration on through. There was no confusion, no questions. I also like how the breakout sessions have been compartmentalized so there is always a topic that interests you. The manner of delivery is great - very down to earth and practical."

hih-1-monday-150x200.jpg  I loved Diana Henriques's approach to why (Madoff) did it... And how he could have been any one of us. We want to trust everyone, but you have to not let go of the guidelines you live by... nor bend on them... in order to protect yourself.
hih-barooshian-150x200.jpg I look forward to listening to Mark Whitacre, who I encountered when the scandal first occurred at ADM. To see him live will be fascinating.

hth-1-sunday-150x200.jpg I am most looking forward to learning what new trends are out there in reference to fraud, what new things we should be looking for, mainly because we're in the preventative and proactive standpoint of analytics. And networking! It is a big part of this because you can meet so many new people, and they're from different backgrounds, so to be able to share information with colleagues, especially from across industries, is very beneficial.
hth-2-sunday-150x200.jpg  At this year's Conference, I am most looking forward to meeting people, learning and growing.
hih-marshall-150x200.jpg I want to learn the latest trends in fraud - being a police investigator, I want to try to stay one step ahead of the fraudsters, and put them behind bars.

hih-copeland-150x200.jpg  My favorite part of the Conference so far have been the general session speakers, especially Diana Henriques. She said Madoff had the normal thought pattern of a fraudster – they truly don’t think they did anything wrong. I find that to be true in my own experience.
hih-sturgeon-150x200.jpg  What I most enjoy at these Conferences is learning the latest techniques and trends in the anti-fraud field. At the same time, I get to meet a lot of great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, like investigators, auditors and security people like myself.
hih-mcnay-150x200.jpg  Don Rabon is always great, and I also enjoyed the session on outsourcing ("Managing the Risk of Fraud in Outsourcing").
hih-garigiulo-150x200.jpg  Cynthia Hetherington was amazing ("Open Source Intelligence Online and Fraud"). The information was really helpful, and relates to what I do in my job.
