    Waheed Alkahtani works as an accounting specialist in internal audits. He is responsible for administrating the Special Audits Division Computer Forensics Lab as well as developing and presenting the Internal Auditing Fraud Awareness program. He has conducted several studies related to fraud prevention including ethics hotlines, codes of conduct and anti-fraud programs. Prior to joining Navigant, he founded and led Microsoft Corporation’s Financial Integrity Unit, and was also a former federal law enforcement professional having served as a United States Postal Inspector in a variety of investigative and management assignments. Biegelman has authored several fraud-related books and was also the 2008 recipient of the Cressy Award, given by the ACFE to recognize lifetime achievements in the detection and deterrence of fraud.

    Rich Brody is a Regent of the ACFE, was the 2012 ACFE Educator of the Year and is a Daniels Fund Business Ethics Fellow. He earned his doctorate in accounting from Arizona State University and previously worked as a staff auditor for Deloitte Haskins + Sells, as a cost analyst for Hewlett Packard and as a senior financial reporting analyst for Tandem Computers.     Michelle Brown, CFE, has more than 12 years of experience in developing fraud prevention and remediation solutions across manifold industries. She creates executable strategies that address the needs of customers in all sectors of private industry and government. Brown has delivered a comprehensive suite of services to more than 60 global call-center clients and has received accolades from several Fortune 500 companies for her investigations and fraud controls. In one assignment, in which no fraud prevention team existed, she established, prepared and led an internal team of investigators in the discovery of a single fraud scheme with losses of more than $2 million. Brown created that team’s protocols and processes for fraud investigation and prevention, and it significantly reduced fraud losses. Brown, a pioneer in her field, has dedicated her career to working in the call-center industry. She has developed fraud-risk assessment and risk-mitigation strategies specifically tailored for the call-center environment. Verizon, one of the largest telecommunications providers in the nation, is marketing those strategies.

He is a recognized expert and frequent speaker in the field of data aggregation technology as it is used to uncover fraud.

    With a career distinguished by 20 years of highly-decorated service to the United States Navy and 15 years of hands-on experience in computer networks, James Butterworth is currently responsible for conducting incident response and forensic examinations in support of federal, corporate, civil and law enforcement investigations. Butterworth has conducted high profile and classified investigations for both the Secretary of Defense and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and his expert testimony has been crucial in numerous.     David Debenham has been a practicing commercial litigation trial lawyer for the past 23 years. His fraud practice inspired him to become a Certified Fraud Examiner, and acquire his Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting from the Rotman Business School’s Graduate Program at the University of Toronto. He has published a text directed at fraud investigators and expert witnesses called “The Law of Fraud and the Forensic Investigator” along with the leading articles in the United States and Canada on the subject of detecting and reporting fraud in a law firm.

    Eric Feldman retired from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 2011 with more than 32 years of experience in Inspector General Oversight and federal auditing. He has served in executive positions with Offices of Inspector General at the Department of Defense, Defense Intelligence Agency, and CIA, and was the longest serving Inspector General of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). At the NRO, he presided over a highly successful procurement fraud prevention and detection program, widely recognized by the Department of Justice as a model throughout the federal government. Feldman is currently President of Core Integrity Group, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in the development and assessment of corporate ethics and compliance programs.     John Gill joined the ACFE in 1995, serving as both General Counsel and Research Department manager for nine years. As the current Vice President of Education, Gill oversees the production and development of all books, manuals, self-study courses, and seminar and conference materials produced by the ACFE. Prior to working for the ACFE, Mr. Gill was an attorney involved with civil fraud, insurance, and deceptive trade practices cases. Gill now serves on the faculty of the ACFE and is a co-instructor of the CFE Exam Review Course.
