    This session is for new and aspiring leaders in the anti-fraud profession, as well as seasoned leaders who want to continue developing their skills. You will explore challenges that come with leading in our unique field. We will address the differences between management and leadership, discuss eight key challenges that leaders in the anti-fraud profession face and provide strategies to overcome them.

    You will learn tips for increasing your leadership effectiveness and leave with a 30-day leadership challenge to help you continue on your leadership journey.

    • 1:00-2:10 p.m.: Leadership and Emotional Intelligence
    • 2:25-3:35 p.m.: Anti-Fraud Leadership
    • 3:50-5:00 p.m.: Increasing Your Effectiveness as an Anti-Fraud Leader

    • Recognize habits of bad, good and great leaders
    • Become more emotionally intelligent
    • Develop an anti-fraud leadership plan for your team
    • Develop a personal leadership plan

She is on the ACFE Faculty and Advisory Council. Kessler is the former head of integrated global services for the Campbell Soup Company. Her career spans more than 30 years in positions that include chief compliance officer, chief audit executive and enterprise risk management Head. Her extensive experience also includes leadership roles in audit, risk management, information technology and corporate investigations in companies including EY, Avon Products, Nabisco, EMI Group, LBrands, The Fraud and Risk Advisory Group and Warner Music Group.
