Notice: Beware of hotel room scams

Hotel reservation pirating is a practice carried out by unauthorized third parties that act as travel agencies, wholesalers, or destination management companies to solicit attendees for room reservations for other organizations' conferences/meetings. These scammers may falsely represent themselves as being affiliated with the ACFE or the ACFE Fraud Conference Asia-Pacific, and they may attempt to trick attendees into making fake reservations, paying unnecessary fees, or sharing private information. Check for hotel room blocks available on our ACFE Fraud Conference Asia-Pacific page. You may contact the hotels directly for availability and rates. ACFE will not solicit attendees to book a room or charge a fee on top of hotel room fees. If you are contacted regarding hotel reservations for the ACFE Fraud Conference Asia-Pacific, and you believe that the individual is not a representative of the ACFE, please report it to Events@acfe.com.
