A former Principal Investigative Lawyer within the U.K. Government’s Serious Fraud Office. She was a senior prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

Lloydette is the Chair of the Board of Spotlight on Corruption, a UK based anti-corruption charity which tracks how the UK implements its anti-corruption laws.

She sits on the Legal Panel for Whistleblowers UK, a non profit promoting transformation in the way speaking up is incorporated into a fair and transparent society.

Lloydette is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Unite Foundation, the charitable arm of Unite Group, a U.K. publicly listed company.

She is a Visiting Lecturer at the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Vienna, Austria.

Lloydette is a Committee Member on the Investigation Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Weiyi Tan is a partner at Clyde & Co Singapore and serves as president of the ACFE Singapore Chapter. Her practice focuses on corporate investigations, regulatory compliance and commercial disputes.

Tan regularly advises clients on investigations into corruption, money laundering, employee misconduct, fraud and other white-collar offenses, and she assists them with their response to enforcement and regulatory authorities. She also advises clients on the design and implementation of their compliance programs, with a focus on anti-bribery and data privacy compliance programs.

As a litigator, she represents clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings involving international trade, employment, intellectual property and general commercial disputes. She is also an experienced mediator and arbitrator, having been appointed to the panels of the Singapore Mediation Centre and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

Tan authored the Singapore Chapter of the “International Comparative Legal Guide – Corporate Investigations 2022.” She is also the recipient of several awards and was most recently nominated for Lawyer of the Year – White Collar Crime at the Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards and Litigator of the Year – South East Asia at the Asian Legal Business Women in Law Awards.

Elizabeth Sherrod has more than 30 years’ experience in investigations. As a special agent with the Tennessee Valley Authority, she worked a variety of investigations involving contract fraud, workers’ compensation fraud, theft of government property, credit card fraud and other white-collar crimes. Sherrod specialized in health care fraud and worked with state and federal agencies in that area from 1994 until her retirement. Prior to her retirement, Sherrod was recognized as an Accredited Health Care Fraud Investigator by the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association. Additionally, Sherrod is recognized as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) as awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

During her time as a federal agent, Sherrod served as the coordinator for both the Tennessee Drug Diversion Working Group and the Upper East Tennessee Drug Diversion Working Group. In this position, Sherrod worked with more than 500 local, state and federal law enforcement individuals and agencies across Tennessee to create an intelligence-sharing network specifically focused on the opioid crisis. In addition to law enforcement, more than 300 health care professionals and industry representatives also participated in the intelligence-sharing network. This working group focused on educating each entity dealing with the opioid crisis as to how the various areas could better work together.

After 22-plus years as a federal agent, Sherrod retired from federal service in 2013 and formed Sherrod Investigative Group with her husband, Dan. As CFEs, Dan and Elizabeth specialize in providing defense litigation and investigative support for criminal defense attorneys in the East Tennessee area. Their experience includes, but is not limited to, health care fraud, drug diversion, capital murder, sexual assault, embezzlement and forensic audits.

Sherrod has been active in the Knoxville ACFE Chapter since 2010. She has served as chapter president, secretary, treasurer and seminar coordinator. As the chapter seminar coordinator, Sherrod has planned and hosted the chapter’s spring and fall 8-hour training seminars. She has worked with both locally and nationally known speakers to ensure excellent training opportunities for chapter members and other attendees. Sherrod has also worked with other professional organizations, including other ACFE chapters and The IIA East Tennessee chapter to promote numerous other training opportunities. Her goal has been to provide chapter members and other attendees with excellent training and to ensure that CFEs in the Knoxville area have an opportunity to obtain their required continuing professional education at a reasonable cost.

Sherrod has made numerous presentations to both government and non-government groups on the prescription drug diversion issue and interviewing techniques.

Leah Wietholter is the chief executive officer and founder of Workman Forensics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Wietholter discovered an interest and talent for forensic accounting. After leaving the FBI, she served as a senior Certified Fraud Examiner in a Tulsa public accounting firm before leaving to open Workman Forensics in 2010.

With more than 15 years of experience and more than 100 cases worked, Wietholter has honed her industry expertise to create the Data Sleuth® Process—a scalable, data-first approach to forensic accounting engagements and fraud investigations.

Wietholter also hosts “The Investigation Game Podcast,” a bi-weekly podcast where she discusses all things investigation with other industry experts and provides tips and tools to help listeners become better investigators.

Wietholter volunteers as treasurer for the Tulsa Crime Stoppers. She holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from Oral Roberts University and an MBA from Oklahoma State University.

Ms. Sagaro is currently the Vice President for Compliance with Paysafe North America. Under Ms. Sagaro’s leadership, she oversees the compliance program for Paysafe North America and BSA/AML compliance for Skrill USA, Inc., affiliate to Paysafe: Group investigating money laundering and fraud risks to meet regulatory filing requirements for suspicious activity.

Ms. Sagaro worked for seventeen and one half (17 ½) years in local and state (Florida) law enforcement. During Ms. Sagaro’s law enforcement career she worked on state and federal task forces for violent crime investigations, money laundering and public corruption; in addition to holding management and leadership positions. Ms. Sagaro transitioned to the private sector where she worked for four and one half (4 ½) years in the insurance industry working on projects on sinkhole remediation and managed repair programs as well as the identification of sinkhole fraud. Ms. Sagaro worked in the brokerage industry with Raymond James Financial for four and one half (4 ½) years managing teams on the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Fraud Investigations Team within the Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crimes Management Department, focusing on mitigating fraudulent activity and meeting regulatory mandates. Ms. Sagaro is currently working in the FinTech industry mitigating money laundering and fraud risk through transactional reviews of Digital Wallets used for Peer to Peer transactions, Business to Peer / Peer to Business transactions, Cross-Border transactions, Foreign Exchange Services and Online Social Gaming and Gambling platforms.

Ms. Sagaro holds a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences, Executive Management from Florida State University. Ms. Sagaro is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Fraud Specialist (CFS), Certified Anti-Money Laundering & Fraud Professional (CAFP) and a Fraud Claims Law Specialist (FCLS).

Diana Ngo is a director in Control Risks’ Business Intelligence practice in North America. With a core focus on business intelligence and integrity risk consulting, she helps clients identify and mitigate risks to their investments, strategies and operations. Ngo has experience with complex, multi-jurisdictional, intelligence-driven investigations and has conducted technical training for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Hong Kong Police.

Prior to joining Control Risks’ New York City office, Ngo worked for more than eight years in Singapore. She has also worked in the public sector dealing with land and energy security issues in mainland China and Thailand.

Ngo holds a double bachelor’s degree in political science and global studies from the University of California–Los Angeles and a master’s degree in international affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. Ngo is fluent in English, with working proficiency in Vietnamese and Chinese.

Monica Modi Dalwadi provides leadership, management and strategic direction for Baker Tilly in the D.C. metro area, offering insight and advice to client engagement teams, fostering employee development and recruitment and driving growth. She works primarily with owners and financial officers of companies, providing business consulting services. Dalwadi serves as a valued advisor to her clients as a partner and leader in risk, internal audit and cybersecurity. She has expertise in internal auditing, risk assessment, fraud and forensics reviews and strategic consulting on a wide range of business issues.

Dalwadi serves on the Baker Tilly’s National Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Steering Committee; Core Strategy Committee; D.C. Growth and Retention of Women Committee; and previously served as the co-chair for the firm’s Talent Differentiation Task Force.

Lourdes Miranda is the chief consultant for global AML compliance, crypto and investigations at RaLytics. She is a former Central Intelligence Agency officer and a former Federal Bureau of Investigation analyst with more than 20 years of government and corporate experience specializing in crypto investigations, financial crime investigations, intelligence collection and analysis.

Miranda has extensive field experience targeting money launderers and terrorist financiers. Since 2017, she has been working for fintechs as a senior crypto investigator, senior compliance officer and risk manager building compliance, investigations, and crypto intelligence teams and training programs.

Miranda is also an author, instructor and has contributed to multiple online courses as a subject-matter expert. She is an advisory board member for Canada-based Toronto Compliance & AML Enterprise. Miranda is also a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Crypto Forensic Investigator, CipherTrace Certified Examiner, Certified Chainalysis Ethereum Investigator and ManchesterCF Financial Intelligence Specialist.

Nancy Freda-Smith is the Chief Risk and Audit Officer at Ralph Lauren Corporation responsible for leading the enterprise risk management, global internal audit, and asset protection departments. Her primary function is to identify and assess key strategic business risks, relating to cybersecurity, internal controls, and business continuity, and provide strategic advice and support to the executive management team and the Company’s Board of Directors to identify emerging strategic opportunities and threats. Before her role at Ralph Lauren Corporation, she was a Managing Director at Deloitte. She has extensive international experience living and working abroad. Nancy also was the co-chairperson of the Network of Executive Women, a networking for consumer products companies, and was the recipient of the “Best of the Best” leadership award. Nancy graduated from Boston College and is a CFE, CPA.

Kelly Donovan was valedictorian of her high school class and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario, majoring in Statistics, and playing varsity rugby. After working in the financial industry she became a police officer. After only 5 years in policing, Donovan witnessed what she believed was selective enforcement and favouritism when police officers are accused of a crime. She didn’t know it at the time, but her deciding to follow her internal set of ethics and morals would result in her leaving policing to advocate for ethical police leadership in this country and protections for whistleblowers across all sectors, private and government.

Janet M. McHard is the founding partner of The McHard Firm, which specializes in forensic accounting, fraud prevention and accounting reconstruction. Together with her partner and staff, McHard conducts forensic and investigative accounting in matters concerning alleged white-collar crimes, embezzlements, employee theft and other disputed accounting issues. She provides expert witness testimony and consulting services in cases where fraud is suspected. McHard teaches accounting, fraud examination and white-collar crime topics for a variety of professional organizations.

McHard is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a certification bestowed upon examination by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) for whom she has also been a faculty member, teaching on topics of fraud examination and white-collar crime since 2003. McHard is the 2017 ACFE Speaker of the Year. She is licensed as a certified public accountant (CPA) in the states of New Mexico, Arizona and California. She is also certified by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analyst as a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics. She is certified in Financial Forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a designation awarded based on education and experience. She is also a private investigator licensed in New Mexico, Arizona and California.

McHard has received special training in fraud prevention and investigation from the ACFE, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and through the University of New Mexico’s Financial Investigators Certificate Program. McHard provides assistance, including expert testimony, in the areas of fraud and forensic accounting. She also has experience in database management and class action administration.

Janet M. McHard holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Mexico, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico’s Robert O. Anderson Graduate School of Management. In 2016, McHard was inducted into the UNM Anderson Schools of Management Hall of Fame. Also in 2016, she was honored as a Woman to Watch – Experienced Leader by the New Mexico Society of CPAs.

She is a member of the National Board of Advisors and past president of the Board of Directors of Keshet Dance Company. She was previously a board member of the Albuquerque Softball/Baseball Hall of Fame and has volunteered her time with the American Softball Association and the New Mexico United States Specialty Sports Association. She is a member of Women in Leadership and the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of the United Way of Central New Mexico. She has previously served on the Board of Housing Commissioners for the Albuquerque Housing Authority, including serving as both chairperson and vice-chairperson.

Chelsea Binns is an assistant professor at the world-famous John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Prior to that, she was a senior vice president in Citibank's Fraud Surveillance Unit in New York City and worked as an investigator for the City and State of New York. She has a doctorate in criminal justice from the CUNY Graduate Center/John Jay College and has published three books: “Fraud Hotlines: Design, Performance & Assessment” (CRC Press, 2017), “The Art of Investigation” (CRC Press, 2020) and “Safety & Security in Hotels and Home Sharing” (Springer, 2020).

Binns has been very active with the ACFE since becoming a CFE in 2009. She is a past president of the New York Chapter, former chair of the ACFE Chapter Leader’s Committee, former member of the ACFE Higher Education Committee and currently serves on the ACFE Advisory Council.

Bernadette L. Harris has a Bachelor of Science in accounting, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in fraud and forensics. She is an award-winning tax and forensic accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) committed to growing small businesses. She has helped thousands of entrepreneurs strategize, start and successfully transition their businesses from profitable to profound.

Kelly Paxton has more than 20 years of investigative experience. Paxton is a Certified Fraud Examiner, private investigator, author and podcast host-founder of Great Women in Fraud. Paxton started her career in law enforcement as a special agent for U.S. Customs Office of Investigations in 1993. Paxton was recruited by U.S. Customs for her expertise in finance. She worked white-collar fraud, money laundering and narcotics cases. She also was responsible for the district’s undercover operations and financial reporting of these operations. Paxton worked as a contract investigator doing more than1,000 security background investigations for the Office of Personnel Management and Department of Homeland Security.

Paxton has worked in the public and private sectors. Most recently she worked as an investigator for Nike. Her investigations include embezzlement, conflict of interest, intellectual property, open source intelligence and fraud. Paxton is also the proud owner of pinkcollarcrime.com, a passion of hers about embezzlers in the workplace. Her book, “Embezzlement: How to Prevent, Detect and Investigate Pink-Collar Crime,” was published in December 2020.

As the first-ever Head of Cyber Security for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Rachel Wilson is responsible for ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of firm and client data.

Additionally, Wilson advises Morgan Stanley leadership on cybersecurity issues, including secure code development standards, secure network architecture, vendor relationships, advanced persistent threat (APT) detection and mobile security. She also leads field and client education and communication on cyber risk, threats and mitigations. She and her team drive innovation for new cybersecurity and authentication technology. Wilson was recognized by Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as part of the 2019 MAKERS Class, a program that honors women who serve as groundbreakers, innovators and advocates. She was also named one of the Top Women in WealthTech 2020 by ThinkAdvisor.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, Wilson spent 15 years at the National Security Agency (NSA) where she held several key, executive-level leadership positions working to detect and disrupt terrorist and cyber exploitation activity against the U.S. and its allies.
